More Sewing Boutique

I taught two silk ribbon classes at The Sewing Boutique in Vicksburg, MS this past weekend: the Silk Ribbon Sampler Class and the Silk Ribbon Roll-Up Class.

The Sewing Boutique has a wonderful selection of fabrics, notions, trims, patterns and other goodies. And they also sell Pfaff sewing machines (my personal favorite). There's also a room filled with Heirloom fabrics, laces and trims, as you can see below.
The tall wood wardrobe has more heirloom laces in the blue boxes, and in front of it (in the wood and glass cabinet that's barely visible) are more laces and specialty trims. I bought some gorgeous paisley Liberty lawn that was on a roll in the bin next to the wardrobe that will make a lovely blouse.

And let's not forget the many colors of floche, DMC Coloris ( a variegated cotton thread), silk embroidery ribbon and other specialty threads that are in the notions room. Oh my, just too many pretty things!
We had a good time in the classroom surrounded by all of the wonderful (and tempting) merchandise in the store. Here's a snapshot of some of the ladies stitching away.
Stop in to The Sewing Boutique if you are in, or driving through, Vicksburg. It's right off of I-20 on the South Frontage Road. It's a great place to shop!
